Financial Arrangements

A predetermined fee is charged for each procedure this fee includes medications, standard supplies, and the use of the facility.  You will be billed separately for the surgeon services and anesthesia.  Laboratory tests ordered for you will also be handled separately.

            Most outpatient surgical procedures are covered by medical insurance.  At the time of admission you may be asked to pay an amount subject to your specific insurance guidelines.  Patients who do not have insurance coverage will be expected to make full payment at time of check-in unless payment arrangements were made prior to surgery.  The center accepts cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Patient Surgery Appointment

            Due to changes in schedules and other factors, the time given by your surgeon’s office and the time assigned to you by the surgical center may vary to a slight degree.  A nurse from Madison Street Surgery Center will attempt to contact you within a few days of your surgery to confirm your arrival time.  At the same time, important medical information will be obtained from you.  Please do not worry if we have not been able to reach you prior to your surgery day; plan to arrive an hour before your scheduled surgery time, unless you have been told otherwise.
