What Happens at the Time of Arrival:

If you are scheduled to arrive for surgery before 7:00 a.m., the building is locked.  You can enter the first set of doors at the front of the building.  There is a keypad and directory on the wall to the left so you can call us and we will unlock the door for you.

You should arrive at the center approximately one hour prior to surgery to allow admitting and pre-operative preparations.  You will be asked to sign forms permitting the surgery center to treat you.  If the patient is a minor these forms must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

What Happens After Surgery:

After your surgery you will be moved into a recovery area where you will remain under observation by an anesthesiologist and nurse until you are discharged.  Although the length of post-operative stays can vary, most patients are discharged within 1 hour after surgery.
